Hide Away Safe for Caravan

🔐 Hide Away Safe for Caravan, Motorhome & Camper Travellers

Share It!

Where are you supposed to stash your spare cash, documents, jewellery and expensive electronics while camping in isolated areas in nothing more than a tin can?

Besides getting creative with whatever random hidey-holes you can find, the next most logical solution is a safe.

However, safes are notoriously heavy. So, with limited space and payload allowance, bolting a regular-style safe into your RV just isn’t an option.

Thankfully, the perfect solution has been designed specifically for caravans, campers and motorhomes.

Hide Away Safe is a slimline, lightweight caravan safe, which can be tucked away in a drawer or cabinet without anyone knowing it even exists.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Hide Away Safe for caravans and other RVs.

Hide Away Safe for Caravans

Hide Away Safe

Hide Away Safe is a very discreet and lightweight option if you’re looking for a simple and practical safe for the motorhome, camper or caravan.

It comes with a docking bracket so that it can be installed inside a drawer or cabinet, meaning that no one will even know you’ve got a safe onboard!

This caravan safe is super slimline, which allows for it to be mounted on the inside roof of a drawer or cupboard, completely hiding it from view.

With an un-pickable military lock and being made of extremely strong lexan polycarbonate, the odds of someone actually being able to get into your caravan safe (if they did find it) are very slim.

Lexan Polycarbonate Construction

Lexan is a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic, which when fully formed can take on impact strength 250 times more than glass and 30 times more than acrylic.

Check out the photo below to see how the Hide Away Safe looks after being taken to with a hammer. It has definitely impacted the shape of the caravan safe, but it has not broken through the safe itself.

Also manufactured using Lexan:

  • Space shuttle windows
  • Bullet resistant windows
  • Bank security screens
  • Clear canopies in fighter jets
  • Police riot shields
  • Jail mirrors

Heat Resistant Qualities

When you close the lid on the Hide Away Safe, the temperature inside stays consistent and does not let in heat from the outside.

This makes the caravan safe a good place to store electronics, such as a spare hard drive, USB sticks, camera memory cards and device batteries.

Please note: the Hide Away Safe is heat resistant but not fireproof.

ABLOY PROTEC Key

Hide Away Safe - Abloy Protec Key

Hide Away Safe uses ABLOY PROTEC, which is recognised as the premium high-security mechanical lock system, used by military and government.

ABLOY PROTEC guarantees long-lasting legal and physical protection against unauthorised key duplication, as well as providing un-pickable locks.

These keys have a possible 1.97 billion different key combinations, which cannot be drilled and are mechanically impossible to pick.

The motorhome safe unit can be locked when it’s out of the docking station, or it can be locked into the docking station so that only the person with the key can remove and access the safe.
