Hide Away Safe for Caravans

Hide Away Safe is a very discreet and lightweight option if you’re looking for a simple and practical safe for the motorhome, camper or caravan.

It comes with a docking bracket so that it can be installed inside a drawer or cabinet, meaning that no one will even know you’ve got a safe onboard!

This caravan safe is super slimline, which allows for it to be mounted on the inside roof of a drawer or cupboard, completely hiding it from view.

With an un-pickable military lock and being made of extremely strong lexan polycarbonate, the odds of someone actually being able to get into your caravan safe (if they did find it) are very slim.

Lexan Polycarbonate Construction

Lexan is a polycarbonate resin thermoplastic, which when fully formed can take on impact strength 250 times more than glass and 30 times more than acrylic.

Heat Resistant Qualities

When you close the lid on the Hide Away Safe, the temperature inside stays consistent and does not let in heat from the outside.

This makes the caravan safe a good place to store electronics, such as a spare hard drive, USB sticks, camera memory cards and device batteries.

Please note: the Hide Away Safe is heat resistant but not fireproof.

ABLOY PROTEC Key

Hide Away Safe uses ABLOY PROTEC, which is recognised as the premium high-security mechanical lock system, used by military and government.

ABLOY PROTEC guarantees long-lasting legal and physical protection against unauthorised key duplication, as well as providing un-pickable locks.

These keys have a possible 1.97 billion different key combinations, which cannot be drilled and are mechanically impossible to pick.

The motorhome safe unit can be locked when it’s out of the docking station, or it can be locked into the docking station so that only the person with the key can remove and access the safe.

Install the Docking Station

The Hide Away Safe can be installed on almost any flat surface within your caravan, using the Docking Station mount. It doesn’t matter if the Docking Station is on an angle, flat or even upside down.

Use screws, bolts or acrylic glue (water-based) to install the Docking Station in your preferred position.

Lock the Safe into Place

There are two options for locking the Hide Away Safe:

Slide it into the Docking Station and lock it into place with the key
Remove it from the Docking Station, ensure the lid is closed and lock the unit with the key
